Movie Review : The Ideas of March

The Idea of March, Selling convictions for the sake of grabbing the public's attention is one of the skills possessed by Stephen Meyers (Ryan Gosling). Stephen worked with Paul Zara (Philip Seymour Hoffman) as the team's successful U.S. Presidential candidate named Mike Morris (George Clooney).
Paul who is very experienced in the field of political communication, find suitable collaboration with Stephen who is young and talented. Both are optimistic to bring Governor Mike Morris to chair the President of the United States and defeated his opponent is Senator Pullman (Michael Mantell).
In the midst of the Morris campaign, Stephen turns to fall in love with one of his staff named Molly Stearns (Evan Rachel Wood). In addition, he also had success at persuasion by a team of competitors who named Tom Duffy (Paul Giamatti) to be able to join the camp Pullman.
Stephen romance with Molly and his meeting with Tom, instantly becoming a major problem. Stephen was dismissed from the team of Mike Morris successful because they are not trustworthy, while Molly had apparently established a scandal with the presidential candidate who had been defended to conceive.
Previous competition runs smoothly and well, now have started taken personal by Stephen. He wanted to accept the offer that was proposed Tom, and very optimistic to destroy the reputation of Mike Morris with its evidence.
Apart from being a performer, George Clooney in the film doubles as director and screenwriter. He managed to make an interesting story because there are different kinds of problems such as professionalism and loyalty. However, it was too late for Tom because Stephen is considered vengeful. Molly on the other hand find it very frustrating to prevent Stephen disgrace not to dismantle it as a political weapon for the good name of his extended family.
Does Stephen have the heart to sacrifice for the sake of her lover disgrace his career ambitions in the political world? and whether Mike Morris was finally able to reach a majority vote of the people to be President of the United States? The answer can only be seen by watching movies nominated for an Oscar in 2012 as Best Adapted Script.
Messages that try ditawarakan from the movie The Ides of March so is in, where one has to consider the career, victory, or virtue.
