Story began when Simin A Separation (Leila Hatami) sues for divorce her husband Nader (Peyman Moadi). This is where the root of all the problems going on. Simin who got the opportunity to move abroad and trying to persuade them Tarmeh her husband and daughter (Sarina Farhadi).
However, Nader refuses because he had to care for his father who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Simin is determined to leave Iran, Nader finally chose to divorce and seek custody Tarmeh which also will be invited out of the country.
When the separation is considered to be a way out domestic problems, it turns out it does not happen in the family Nader. The father of the child was confronted with a new problem. Simin who went from home to make Nader had to hire a woman named Razieh (Sareh Bayat) to take care of his father as well. But it turns out not only Razieh was pregnant, but did not get permission from her husband's work. From this conflict and drama that led to the court case.
A Separation is actually a story about the problem of domestic drama that simple. Anyone can experience this story. But the storyline and strong conflict makes this film directed by Asghar Farhadi is very interesting to observe. Honesty and high morality to be the main message of this film.
Films with 123 minutes duration is also taught that beloved child could be a victim of a selfish parent. However a breakup will leave scars for the child. If you get here, just how do parents protect and give meaning to the child.
With a series of achievements, A Separation is a film not to be missed. 56 international award managed to take home to Iran. Including two of the most prestigious Golden Globe and Academy Awards 2012 Awards 2012 for the category of best foreign language film.
