Movie Review Life of Pi. Who does not know the Taiwanese director, Ang Lee. His work in the film industry has a lot of positive appreciation in the international community. Call it the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), Hulk (2003) and Brokeback Mountain (2005) is a great movie that was born from the cold hands of an Ang Lee. Now, Ang Lee has completed his latest film adaptation of a best-selling novel by Yann Martel titled Life of Pi.

Life of Pi tells the story of a young man from India who has a pretty weird name is Piscine Molitor Patel or familiarly called Pi Patel. Pi is an innocent young man but has a curious feeling very big. He was always trying something considered true start of his views on religion, science and life.
Once, when Pi Patel families experiencing economic difficulties because the zoo is not enough that they manage to make ends meet. All members of Pi Patel's family finally decided to move to Canada to use the sea route. But the trip is not as easy as he imagined because the boat they were riding in a big storm and only obstructed Pi Patel who survived the disaster. From there he had to struggle for survival alone in the middle of the vast ocean.
Admirable, perhaps it is appropriate word to describe this movie. For those who've never read the novel, perhaps the word is already spoken when knowing what passed by Pi Patel in the middle of the vast ocean. Surely the word 'Lovely' can also be inserted in the visual version of Life of Pi, where director Ang Lee really feast for the audience eyes with dazzling picture display behind the disaster suffered by Pi Patel.
Surely the beauty of the displayed image Ang Lee is not inferior to the role players involved in this film. Suraj Sharma as Pi Patel young cast is very funny and able to animate his character. Similarly, Adil Hussain who plays Pi Patel's father, where her acting is very wealthy and comfortable to enjoy. Overall, all the players in the film Life of Pi is 'rich' and full of life lessons.
Division of animation in the film Life of Pi certainly need thumbs up. Besides being able to describe the behavior of an animal that is very natural, their composition memorable also very fitting and appropriate to the scenes they want to highlight. Surely it will be more visible when watching Life of Pi in 3D format.
When it comes to the messages contained in the film Life of Pi certainly is a lot considering the players had a rich character. Overall, the message that can be drawn from the story of Pi Patel trip is to never lose hope because God is actually behind the suffering always keep and take care of us.
