A member of the mafia leader Alphonse (Terrence Howard) who named Victor (Colin Farrell), trying to find answers to the murder of fellow gang named Paul (Aaron Vexler). To uncover the culprit, Victor often conduct investigations with his best friend, Darcy (Dominic Cooper), one by one they find clues that directly executed well. 

Victor has become a confidant Alphonse as always reliable. On the other hand, neighbor Victor named Beatrice (Noomi Rapace) has been observing his movements and threatened to report the crimes committed to police. There is only one condition that could invalidate Beatrice intention, which Victor had to do something related to revenge.
See revenge owned Beatrice, Victor turned out to also have a mission behind his involvement as a member of the gang Alphonse. Starting from where Victor must try choosing to implement the demands of Beatrice or covert missions that have been buried for a long time.
Dead Man Down is full of question marks. The conflict in the film Dead Man Down is also getting richer by the emergence of the character Beatrice, who demanded Victor to conduct his revenge mission. With a story that makes me curious, capable and action elements involving actors / actresses talented, as if to make the film into a single package that must spectacle to be enjoyed. Especially for a big fan of Colin Farrell, of course, should not miss this film because it manages to appear very natural to play mafia member Hungary's mysterious origins.
Overall, this movie is very interesting and highly recommended for lovers of action crime drama. Although the theme is fairly classic in the form of revenge, but director Niels Arden Oplev is able to pack it very well, so not a single moment of this memorable movie boring and predictable.
