Movie Review : A Monster In Paris

A Monster In Paris movie, As a result of a chemical accident in the laboratory, a louse of a sudden turned into a scary monster and haunt the inhabitants of Paris, France. Raoul (Adam Goldberg) and Emile (Jay Harrington) was responsible for the accident and trying to hunt down the monster.

One of the officials in the city of Paris is the commissioner Maynott (Danny Huston), turned out to take advantage of the tense situation in order to steal public attention so that the elected mayor. Together with his aide, Pate (Bob Balaban), they gather the strength to kill the monster in order to raise its image as Paris Mayor election campaign.
To her surprise, the giant flea is proved to have extraordinary artistic talent and managed to become a star in Cabaret Rare Bird to duet with Lucille (Vanessa Paradis). Since then, Raoul, Emile and Lucille realized that Francoeur named monster (Sean Lennon) did not have malicious intent.
 
Problems began to arise when Maynott, Pate, and local police are trying to kill Francoeur by all means. Raoul and Emile who previously wanted to capture the monster, now just trying to save Francoeur to restore it to its original shape.
Story set in the 1910s, featuring classic images that do not reduce the impression of the beautiful city of Paris. Besides featuring funny characters, this film also inserts a musical element, seen as Lucille and Francoeur with singing and guitar playing talent astute. Romantic impression of Paris was still displayed, the romance between Emile and Maude (Madeline Zima).
A Monster in Paris trying to remind us, how people sometimes forget about the nature of humanity itself in pursuit of an ambition. This is illustrated in the figure of the good-hearted monster Francoeur, contrary to Maynott, people from the ranks of the elite, which is actually very selfish and think of others lower.
The film has the original title Un Monstre a Paris, believed to be able to entertain a variety of backgrounds and ages. A Monster in Paris despite various animation, but the story can also be enjoyed by adults. Overall, this movie is family viewing, with fresh stories highlight the theme of honesty and humanity.
